Hi, Jarek here đź‘‹
Next Thursday, next newsletter!
In Poland we have long May holidays and most people are with their friends and families either vacationing or doing barbecues :)
1st May: The Labour Day (bank holiday in Poland) 2nd May: The Flag Day (not a bank holiday, but most people take this day off) 3rd May (Friday): The Constitution of May, 3rd (bank holiday)
Did you know that Polish Constitution of May, 3rd, in 1791 was the first constitution in Europe and second in the world (USA was first)?
That was something about 🇵🇱 history, but this newsletter is about programming. So let’s get straight into it!
đź“š Pulumi Kotlin
Last week I had an opportunity to join Kotlin Tech Talks in Kraków as a speaker. The other speaker was Julia Plewa - she’s working on missing link in Kotlin multiplatform - infrastructure. Great talk with live coding. Unfortunately there’s no recording, however she wrote an article about getting started with Kotlin in infra code. Read it here.

🛠️ Android Studio with Gemini AI in EU
Exciting news for Android developers: Gemini is now available in Android Studio preview.
As you gear up to test this official integration, a question arises: will the model be trained on our projects?
I've been playing with generative AI for some time now, I can’t wait to test official integration.

What's new?
I’m recharging my batteries now. Less screen time, more nature time. But that doesn’t mean that business is slowing down. I’m learning to do more focused work instead of juggling 5 projects :).
Wish you Happy Thursday Best, Jarek
